    1. Not much to say about this book. It's a western set in the middle of a long series. A young mother escapes after she hears the plans the men on the trail drive have for her. She walks 40 miles and is rescued by a rancher. He marries her and takes her home with him. Great start, good potential, but the story never quite took off.

    2. I got this sweet and mostly clean historical romance free some time ago, and decided to read it at Thanksgiving and as a prelude to my annual Christmas binge reading. I vacillated between 3 and 4 stars. As others have said, it is a familiar marriage of convenience story. Also, I felt that the author used a lot of contemporary expression in dialog. However, I did enjoy the story and the characters. I also felt that it was pretty well edited. Therefore, I bumped to 4 stars to reflect my enjoyment. [...]

    3. An emotionally gratifying addition to a sensational series! Cam and Tess's first meeting will grab your attention, while little 2yr old Jacob steals your heart This is a story to savor and enjoy often.

    4. A Cheyenne ThanksgivingAnother fne piece of work by Caroline Lee. Off to find the next book in the series. I can't seem to slow my reading down. I try to make it last nit get so caught up in the story I am off and running again.

    5. Wonderful tale of strength and courage.I loved this story right from the beginning as it grabbed my attention and wouldn't let go. From beginning to end our heroine has showed her amazing strength, physically and mentally. She was stoic and did what she had to do to keep herself and her toddler alive in the wilderness. For days they traveled on foot, or she did carrying her child in a sling, running out of food and going without water for long periods of time until she found rivers to fill the b [...]

    6. Caroline Lee does a remarkable job introducing us to the complexities of life in 1882 Wyoming Plains. Life in these parts are full of hardships and challenges. As this book, A Cheyenne Thanksgiving, opens we are introduced to a remarkable young heroine, Tess Li Kitchens. A recent widow stranded in a rural Montana town with her two-year old son, Tess ventures westward as a cattle drive cook to find better opportunities. Realizing her life and her son's are in peril, she ventures out in the middle [...]

    7. Sometimes we base our decisions on facts, past experience or feelings. Here is a woman who takes a chance on a marriage that will mean stability, security and maybe companionship. The prospect of raising a son on her own may be the real reason, or maybe the fact that it's only natural to want to have someone to share your burdens with, but can a person take a chance like this? to marry a stranger and hope everything will be all right? By reading this book, you will discover the possibilities of [...]

    8. It was a lovely little romance. More sex than her Cheyenne Christmas book but not enough to make it a bodice ripper. It was also done in a way that I would consider tasteful. Though not as engrossing and cute as A Cheyenne Christmas, I did enjoy this book quite a bit. It was very cute. The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 4 is that the sappiness at the end was a bit forced and Tess' ignorance was pounded into me and too drawn out. Too often we're told "something was missing." After the f [...]

    9. Since I read instead of watch TV it was cute entertainment with a good start then gets a bit unbelievable in the bedroom. Without going into the particulars you got an idea. A tad off the charts for me. But a cute plot and story line. You will like the characters. I will read another one as the characters from the other books are endearing and I want to find out if Nate and his girl ever find each other or if the mail service is all that faulty in those days. smile.

    10. This is a nice clean read. It's much lighter than most books I've read. Very fluffy. I typically keep books with strong character development and witty dialogue because that's the kind of book that draws me in, but this series hasn't done much for me. I'm grateful it's clean, but I really don't feel the need to keep it in my personal library.

    11. Mother and child rescued!A very large (and handsome) hero discovers and brings them to safety. They marry on the spur of the moment and in the months that follow fall in love without realizing they have!

    12. Good bookI enjoyed reading this book about Cam and Tessa. It was a sweet romantic journey for Tessa learning what love was and she had someone patient enough to wait on her to acknowledge it.

    13. Charming and heart warmingA stronger and more intelligent woman is a difficult character to communicate to an audience. Tessa is just such a woman with a huge heart and soul for Cam to love. A great book in the on going saga. Love it!

    14. Another amazing story from Caroline. The characters are realistic and relatable. This is a sweet story full of romance. I'm looking forward to reading the final book in the series then, I'm gonna move on the her Everland Ever After books.

    15. TerrificThis is an absolutely terrific story, and the characters we so easy to call in love with. Cam and Tessa are perfect for each other and little Jacob is just so darn cute!

    16. 4 starsAn enjoyable book. Tessa is left a widow with a small child. She heads out to find a place to raise her child. She finds so much more.

    17. Sweet romanceTess and Cam are two likable characters. The story is a bit predictable but if you like a warm sweet romance without too much drama then this is a good book.

    18. Wonderful bookWhat a great book, I really enjoy the historical old west books. This book had great characters and a wonderful storyline! I look forward to reading the next book.

    19. Lovely readGreat addition to the series. The story of Cam and Tessa is a look into the history of merging cultures and how to find love. Read this one!

    20. SweetThis was an interesting and sweet book. I enjoyed it a lot. I think you will too. I love western romance s

    21. This book could be 2 stars -- I just could not get into it. I started skipping through it just to get done. It just seemed silly.

    22. I absolutely loved this book! The way he proved to her that she loved him was beautiful! A must read at Thanksgiving or any time if the year!

    23. If you're looking for a romance set in the old west, check this out. It's sweet and fluffy, and it should fill a few hours.

    24. At last! An American thanksgiving. This is a good history book with fictional characters. I love the Chinese influence. It gives an interesting flare to the story.

    25. Great book!I just discovered this new author and I can't wait to read more of her books. Cams story was very well written with wonderful secondary characters.
