    1. This is a fun light hearted read. It's well written, features two enjoyable characters and a very sweet romantic story line. It's a great choice when you just want to kick back and lose yourself in a good book for a few hours. It will be an excellent choice when you're looking for something to read on a rainy afternoon or snowy night.

    2. This book was just not my cup of tea. I found the writing style to be confusing at points ( with long run-on sentences) and the dialogue to be unnatural. I got to halfway through the book and still find Joy to be unrealistic and the relationship with Adam seems forced. I’m guessing this author either reads a lot of historical romance or usually writes it as the writing and dialogue didn’t feel contemporary enough.

    3. This was a quick, light easy read for a cold afternoon. I downloaded this book for free from and I enjoyed it.

    4. I downloaded this story from as part of my mission to feature Christmas stories during the month of December.I have to admit that I was disappointed in this read and did not enjoy it too much. The premise of the story was fine, two opposites meet and deny their attraction until they give in to the chemistry. Although typical I did expect this based on the synopsis given.Where I struggled was with the character of Joy. She was uptight with no personality and I found it difficult to like her. I k [...]

    5. A Heart is a Home has Adam going 'home' to his grandfather's house after his death in order to sell it. Adam's character has a lot of depth and is well described. I found him to be quite likable. He meets Joy who is a real estate agent. She wants Adam to list the house with her so she can make the commission to pay some debts. She sees that he doesn't really want to sell the house but doesn't tell him because she needs the sale. Joy is a very business oriented person and seems set in her ways. A [...]

    6. BummerIt started off good. The author referred to a woman’s private part as a pu$$y. I detest that word, as many other readers do. Why it was used that one time is beyond me. Oh, I know! No one bothered to mention it in their heading: it’s erotic and that’s not my kind of read. I bought it because it said, “Sensual Contemporary Romance Novella.” Had it said “erotic” I never would have bought it. Even though the storyline was interesting I really can’t see myself reading this autho [...]

    7. I enjoyed the story, but there was something about the writing that I found choppy. As I haven't read any of the authors other books, I'm not sure if that is how she usually writes or if she just had issues with the flow due to it being a novella. I'm sure I'll read another one of her books one day to compare because, like I said, I enjoyed the storyline.

    8. Looking for a light, fun, romantic, quick, read on snowy evening during the holidays -- look no further, this is it. I downloaded twelve freebie Christmas stories from into my Kindle. This is the only one of them, I'm going to keep. Oh, there were some plotting issues, some odd character trades, but for overall, a nice story.

    9. This is an author that I will be reading more of. I truly enjoyed this book. A nice in-front-of-the-fireplace-read
